The session concluded with an insightful Q&A, where attendees had the opportunity to explore Richard’s experiences and perspectives in greater depth. As a fitting end to the event, Richard was also announced as the winner of this month’s book prize and, in a generous gesture, chose to pass the book on to the guest who asked the standout question of the session.

Richard Whitehead MBE
Richard Whitehead MBE is a Paralympic Gold Medallist, world record holder, marathon runner, professional athlete and a global advocate for diversity and inclusion. Born with a double through-knee congenital amputation, Richard has defied expectations from an early age, embracing sport as a way to live without limits, a philosophy instilled by his parents and one that continues to shape his life and inspire others.
Richard is officially the fastest amputee runner in the world, and his story is one of grit, positivity, and boundless possibility. He continues to inspire generations to dream bigger, be better, and live without limits.
The Timetable
What to expect...
Arrival at 11:45, sign in and collect your badge before being escorted into the reception area.
Enjoy a bit of opening networking with the other members and guests of the lunch. Drink included.
Sit down for a two course lunch including a starter and a main followed by coffee. After lunch the guest speaker will take to the podium for their speech.
The meeting and lunch is drawn to a close.
Guests and members are invited to continue their discussions in The Green Room.
