Charity Golf Day

Nottingham City Business Club’s annual Charity Golf Day returned on Thursday 24th September with more than 80 players across 20 teams joining us for a fantastic day at Ruddington Grange Golf Club.
The day began with registration, bacon rolls and coffee before the teams headed out onto the course for an 11:30am shotgun start. The competition was played in a Stableford format, with teams of four and the best two scores counting on each hole.
As ever, the Golf Day was about much more than the competition. It provided a brilliant opportunity for NCBC members, guests and businesses from across Nottingham to come together, build relationships and most importantly, raise funds for our 2026 Charity of the Year, Forever Stars.

Event Roundup
There was plenty to play for out on the course, including our Hole in One competition, with an incredible £10,000 prize available on the 15th hole, alongside further prizes on the 3rd, 8th and 12th holes. Unfortunately, despite plenty of attempts, nobody managed to find that elusive hole in one – so the £10,000 prize will have to wait for another year!
Following the golf, everyone returned to the clubhouse for drinks, food and the all-important presentation, bringing a brilliant day to a close.
A huge thank you to everyone who entered a team, sponsored the event, donated, helped organise the day or simply came along and supported us. The generosity and enthusiasm of the NCBC community once again made the Golf Day a great success while helping us raise fantastic funds for Forever Stars.

The Timetable
What to expect...
Register and start the day with a bacon roll and coffee at Ruddington Grange Golf Club.
Team Photos then make your way to your starting tee.
Shotgun start at 11:30am on the course.
Drinks in The Wentworth Suite, where raffle tickets will be on sale and also hand in your scorecards.
A well deserved hot buffet meal to finish the day.
Presentations and raffle will follow the buffet where we are raising money for this year's annual charity.
6:00pm finish.
