Commercial director at Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club great success as June guest speaker
Michael Temple, commercial director at Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, was the guest speaker at the June Nottingham City Business Club event when he spoke about lessons learnt from a career in the stadium business.
Prior to taking on his current role, he was head of commercial at the Olympic Stadium. Before that, he worked on a range of major events including The Ashes, the ICC World Twenty 20, Premier League Football, Premiership Rugby, the World Athletics Championships, International Rugby League and major concerts including Guns N Roses’ return to London last Summer. He was also head of marketing & communications at Trent Bridge cricket ground from 2008 to 2014.
President of the club, Ian Roberts, added: “Michael was an excellent guest speaker, sharing lots of useful tips and information with our members and prompting lots of great questions.”
