13 March 2026
Ed Attenborough
HM High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire
Registration from: 11:45am
Lunch: 12:30pm
At our March event, we were delighted to welcome Ed Attenborough, the High Sheriff of Nottingham, now an honorary member of NCBC, who gave members and guests a fascinating insight into the role of the Shrievalty.
Event Roundup
He shared how he balances this demanding and prestigious position as one of the King’s representatives, an unpaid appointment held for a single year, with his role leading award-winning medical implants company, Attenborough Medical.
Guests were particularly interested to hear about the initiatives Ed has championed during his term, including supporting SEND and sports charities, as well as helping to bring together communities through multi-faith and music events.
One such event and one of the highlights of his appointment is Rock Corps, a unique music event celebrating young people across Nottinghamshire who have volunteered in their local communities, which will be headlined by Tinie Tempah and JayaHadADream.
RockCorps, kindly hosted by Rock City, will take place on 8 April 2026. To find out more about the gig, visit https://nottinghamrockcorps.com
