Her passionate talk amusingly titled ‘Why Your Marketing Sucks and What You Can Do About It’, took NCBC members and guests through four common mistakes small-medium sized businesses make and suggested useful actions they can take to overcome them.

Four common mistakes:

  1. Getting distracted by new and shiny things
  2. Not knowing their target audience
  3. Not doing the type of marketing they enjoy
  4. Setting then forgetting their marketing strategy

Sophie is Beauhurst’s PPC Lead, spearheading all paid marketing initiatives across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and LinkedIn Ads. With extensive experience in B2B SaaS, she's delivered impressive results both in-house and agency side throughout her 10-year career. Beyond her role at Beauhurst, Sophie is a platinum Google Ads Product Expert, a regular contributor to Search Engine Land and a prolific public speaker.

Her talk, ‘Why Your Marketing Sucks and What You Can Do About It’, will address small but impactful mistakes SMB’s make when it comes to marketing their product/service and what they can do to overcome them.

The Timetable

What to expect...

Arrival at 11:45, sign in and collect your badge before being escorted into the reception area.

Enjoy a bit of opening networking with the other members and guests of the lunch. Drink included.

Sit down for a two course lunch including a starter and a main followed by coffee. After lunch the guest speaker will take to the podium for their speech.

The meeting and lunch is drawn to a close.

Guests and members are invited to continue their discussions in The Green Room.

Parking is available at NCP Nottingham Stoney Street.
