Glenn Slater

ncbc-june-2021

Glenn joined Robert Woodhead Ltd as a graduate trainee in 1995 after graduating from Staffordshire University, initially coordinating marketing, moving into bid management and business development management as the business grew.

Having helped the business grow with some significant Framework wins and entry into the affordable housing market, Glenn was appointed as Business Development Director in May 2009. Major initiatives have included taking our first steps into the digital age, being early adopters of digital marketing and social media within the construction industry, advocating modern methods of construction, moving the business into market sale housing, developing public/private partnerships and joint ventures and embracing the opportunity presented by the Social Value Act.

Always with one eye on the future Glenn was appointed as Chief Visionary Officer (CVO) August 2018 a role he combines with Business Development duties. A strong advocate of climate action, this new role looks ahead 3-10 years to embrace the opportunity presented by the change and challenges we all face as businesses.
