Paul Wilkinson – Chief Executive

Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust

Registration from: 11:45am

Lunch: 12:30pm

In June, we welcomed Paul Wilkinson, CEO of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, who provided an inspiring introduction to the charity’s vital work and shared his vision for Nottinghamshire’s people and wildlife to thrive together.

Event Roundup

Paul reflected on the Trust’s visit to Paris and the valuable lessons learned from the city’s approach to urban sustainability. Paris has made significant strides in promoting biodiversity through initiatives such as creating new green spaces, installing nesting boxes, and developing urban wetlands.

He highlighted how these ideas are already influencing projects closer to home, including the transformation of the Broadmarsh area into a central green space. With more exciting developments planned, it was a fascinating insight into how Nottingham can continue to become a greener, more sustainable city, creating a future where both people and wildlife can flourish.
