Charlie Krarup, managing director of Adventure Base, joined us in April to tell us how "life is better when you spend time in the mountains."

The NCBC audience was captivated by Charlie, as he told us how his travel business, based in Chamonix in the French Alps, takes ordinary people on extraordinary adventures. Clients including Sir Richard Branson and Princess Beatrice have scaled the heights of Mont Blanc on bespoke charity or corporate mountain expeditions.
So why do they put themselves through the pain and harsh reality of the mountains? Well, it’s simple...

The Timetable
What to expect at NCBC
Arrival at 11:45, sign in and collect your badge before being escorted into the reception area.
Enjoy a bit of opening networking with the other members and guests of the lunch. Drink included.
Sit down for a two course lunch including a starter and a main followed by coffee. After lunch the guest speaker will take to the podium for their speech.
The meeting and lunch is drawn to a close.

As a member you’ll be invited to a monthly lunch-time event on the third Friday of each month (excluding August) to meet with other members and hear from our guest speaker.
