Ian Curryer, the chief executve of Nottingham City Council was the guest speaker at the club's June event.
His talk was entitled: Nottingham: A Growing City and centred around regeneration plans for the City Centre and Southside Area.
It focused on the transformation of public spaces, the opportunities for new Grade A office space and the skills needed to ensure that Nottingham continues to be the fastest growing economy in the East Midlands.

What to expect at NCBC
Arrival at 11:45, sign in and collect your badge before being escorted into the reception area.
Enjoy a bit of opening networking with the other members and guests of the lunch. Drinks included.
Sit down for a two course lunch including a starter and a main followed by coffee. After lunch the guest speaker will take to the podium for their speech.
The meeting and lunch is drawn to a close.
Guests and members are invited to continue their discussions at The Castle Pub afterwards. NCBC members receive 10% discount with their Castle card.
