Beeston Film Festival

Registration from: 11:45am

Lunch: 12:30pm

Former NCBC president Simon Pryce joined us in February to discuss his passion for Beeston Film Festival (22 – 28 April 2024).

It turns out that it’s one of Nottinghamshire’s best-kept secrets!

Event Roundup

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Beeston Film Festival showcases international short films to our communities, right here in our great county.

Established at the White Lion in Beeston in 2014, where its first event premiered films to an audience of 40, the festival now attracts filmmakers from up to 70 countries from across the globe, who win the chance to screen their film to large audiences at Beeston’s Arc Cinema.

The festival is leveraging Broxtowe Borough Council’s regeneration of Beeston, and boasts a place on FilmFreeway’s ‘Top 100 Best Reviewed Festivals’ list and is pending BAFTA approval.
