Today I’m a successful photographer, but my story is that of a dyslexic kid who at school had two interests, photography and farming, who, on iffy careers advice, followed a path into farming. At 14 years old I was successfully printing colour images in the black and white school darkroom! Yet it was going to be another 10 years before I made it into the photographic industry processing film.
Fast forward and I’m still that kid who is fascinated by creativity, image making and art, but who is now backed by all the facilities you would expect of a professional with considerable experience, and who has had his eyes opened by a creative education at London College of Fashion.
I also have a substantial marketing past, and I now find myself talking about how to use images across all aspects of marketing to create differentiation and give a brand's images their own voice.
It’s all about images with style and premium production values that give your brand presence and authority, whether product work and corporate advertising or personal branding.
