Nottingham City Business Club Charity Golf Day

Eighteen teams representing various businesses and organisations in Nottingham took part in the event: Actons Solicitors, BEC Consulting, Buckles Law, CEMA, CYBG, Earl & Pelham, Foremost Security, Gas Container Services, GF Tomlinson, Jamieson Christie Wealth Management, John Pye Property, Quickswitch, SLR Consulting, Smellie Savage Computers, Shakespeare Martineau, Smith Cooper, Turner & Townsend and Woodhead Group.

Through a combination of sponsorship, a raffle and entry fees, the event also raised over £450. This will be added to the money being raised by the NCBC team taking part in the forthcoming CEO sleepout being organised by Notts County Football in the Community (NCFITC) to raise money for NCFITC as well as various homeless charities.

The Nottingham City Business Club Golf Day was first competed for in 1929 but stopped in 1982. It was re-introduced in 2011 and since then it has been won by teams from Turner & Townsend, UHY Hacker Young, CEMA, Sherwood Place Wealth Management, Towergate Risk Solutions and John Pye Property.
