Nottingham City Business Club Exclusive partnership revealed between NCBC and Motorpoint Arena Nottingham

Nottingham City Business Club has revealed an exclusive new partnership with world-class entertainment venue, Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, as the club sets its sights on achieving its growth ambitions ahead of its centenary in 2024.

Founded in 1924, Nottingham City Business Club (NCBC), aims to provide a forum for business people in the local area to network and form new business connections through its celebrated monthly luncheons.

In previous years, luncheons have been hosted at Nottingham’s Park Plaza, an established hotel chain and conference venue in Nottingham city centre.

However with future growth plans in mind, an exclusive new partnership with the Motorpoint Arena will see the popular events and entertainment venue become the new host for the Club’s monthly networking events – with its upcoming Christmas lunch kicking off this exciting new chapter.

NCBC members will also be able to enjoy a host of new benefits as a result – from priority event hospitality offers, to discounts on event room hire and advertising packages.

NCBC President, Deborah Labbate, is excited by the new partnership, adding “I’ve been a member of NCBC since 2006 and a serving officer of the Club’s Council since 2008. During this time I have enjoyed a great working relationship with the management and team at the Park Plaza, who I thank for their support over the years,”

“With the Club’s current growth trajectory, and our plans for how we want to continue to expand our offering over time and add value to our members, we decided that the time was now right to explore new options and make the move to a new venue,”

Deborah adds, “I am delighted to have signed a venue partnership agreement with the National Ice Centre and Motorpoint Arena and looking forward to working with the team moving forward,”

“The timing is perfect, with next year being NCBC’s centenary – so this is an opportunity for the Club to expand its membership offer and gain access to a wide range of additional facilities.”

Speaking about the partnership, Martin Ingham, Chief Executive of the National Ice Centre & Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, says, “The Motorpoint Arena is delighted to become the new home for the NCBC’s meeting,”

“Our wonderful facilities and delicious food from a great team of chefs lend themselves perfectly to hosting the informative and engaging presentations and lively networking that NCBC is renowned for. We are really looking forward to a long and productive partnership.”
