Nottingham City Business Club welcomes Nottingham Roosevelt Memorial Scholars
Henry Franklin, a chartered mechanical engineer and graduate from Nottingham University, will be speaking about his experiences of the Nottingham Roosevelt Memorial Scholarship where he spent six weeks in the States completing a project examining the adoption of prefabrication in the construction sector.
Joining Henry on the podium will be Samantha (Sam) Preston, a behaviour change officer at Nottingham City Council. Sam will also be talking about her recent trip to the US where she researched the sustainability stories of 11 US cities, taking lessons home to help shape Nottingham’s transition into the UK’s first carbon neutral city.

Nottingham City Business Club was established in 1924 and its membership comprises of senior representatives of the local business community.
The club holds monthly lunch meetings for members to meet fellow senior business people in the city, with different prominent guest speakers featuring at each event.
